updates
i can't write testimonials! what does that make me? my friends have been so sweet and sincere in writing me testimonials on friendster, but i have not been returning the favor. why? cuz i'm stumped! i don't want to just blab about something i don't mean. what does it take to write a good tes ???? ARGH!
been watching a lot of DVDs this summer. we can borrow them from the local library here for just a dollar each for three days. seriously, i think i've watched much of their collection, well, the interesting ones at least...hehehe...so what's left for the rest of summer?? will I finally be succumbed to reading books?? neverRrRrrr....!!
update on parents, mom is already working in a japanese restaurant. dad is taking a short course so that he can work in a japanese restaurant. all i really pray for is that God will protect them and keep them safe. i also really hope that they won't be too burdened, it's not easy no doubt. but i know that i need not worry cuz let me tell you that these two fellas know how to live. hahahah...
so i went to this Bible study group with kp. these guys are from Campus Crusade, but i havent seen them b4..... who am i kidding?? i only went for one campus crusade meeting in the past year! anyway, they're really friendly and committed, and i really admire what they do for the Bible study. what really knocked me over was the kind of accountability they're willing to commit to, and among ppl whom they barely know (me and kp i mean)!! ..i'm not ready for this stuff yet.
so i've been taking summer classes. this upper level biology class, which i'll call conservation biology, is pretty interesting i guess. it's about conservation (duh!) of ecology, plants and wildlife in general. there's also another "class" i'm taking with a Dr. Huang Chi Ming on campus. His lab does research on the brain, and he gave me a special lab course just for me, so i can get a feel for work in the lab, and possibly get me to work part time there in the future? just think, king fu vs. neuroscience....hahah..
