Icy Mishaps
Not much to update these days, so I guess I'll just put anything that comes to my mind. I was walking to class one cold day not too long ago, and I came to this tiny hill or incline on the way. I always walk by this way, it's my routine. I didnt realize how slippery it would get while I slowly walked up this hill covered in solid ice, up until I reached the top that is. I couldn't get a grip and was stuck there, and I couldn't decide whether to slide back down all the way, or struggle onwards. It was a good thing a good Samaritan came by and offered help. Actually, I was worried if I would pull us both down the slope...haha...fortunately that didn't happen.
Another small incident yesterday adds to my collection of icy stunts. I was all ready to go to work, locked the door, walked down the flight of steps, onto a small carpeted area, and onto a deceivingly normal pavement, only that it was solid ice that I blindly stepped onto. I fell of course, but I was alright. Maybe it was the cold weather, but I think it felt more painful falling on ice than on just the pavement. But like I said, I was alright, so don't worry. =]
Looks like there's a new skiing club on campus...sounds interesting... =]

Vineyard Christian Fellowship
hoo boy, i thought of updating way back ages ago. darn, it's gonna be hard to recall what happened.
My first time at this church, Vineyard. I got myself here through a bunch of new friends i came to know through Campus Crusade, a weekly meeting of Christians on campus. I was looking for a church then, and they were attending Vineyard, so i thought i'd give it a shot. So here I am.
It was amazing. I could worship God uninhibited, no pressure. And it had been a some time since I worshipped together in a congregation. The band wasn't uber-awesome, it didn't have to be. The people are so genuinely warm, especially the pastors. And the preaching was good.
